THIS AREA GUARENTEES THE MOST WIND IN THE REGION (apart from Mossel Bay area towards Cape Town). If Plettenberg Bay is not working, then Knysna will work! The Greater Knysna area covers a town called Sedgefield where Myoli Beach is epic for side shore conditions. Knysna Lagoon offers excellent sailing with Easterlies through the heads and the place to ride is Brenton on Lake next to the caravan park on the far side. Important - Do not walk through the caravan park, as it's private property. You have to walk around the outside edge of the caravan park on the lagoon shore and kit up at the end on the far side. At low tide be careful of hidden shallow metal oyster cages. Very Hazardous! Knysna can be a creative spot to ride and don't be surprised to see the locals gather in a new spot weekly. Buffels Bay - Amazing place !! - but be careful kites and children and we have been banned once or twice. Myoli beach - South & Easterlies - Watch out for the currents on big surf days. Fish! Buffalo Bay - good wind good surf - epic just be careful.   VIEW A KITEBOARDING SESSION VIEW HERE - NAISH TEAM RIDERS VISIT US THX GUYS In Knysna a good spot to ride on a west or north west would be Leisure Island on the town side. Go to the end of the island via the roads. You will find a big tree and parking in a cu-de-sac. Then between the houses there will be a walkway to the beach. Follow this and go around the island where there will be a great beach to launch. Do not launch near the gardens of the beach houses, very gusty. The experience can be overall a gusty session, but that's why we have hybrid kites, right?     Wilderness Beach on a Westerly   An epic long beach for a South West. Good spot this and Gerrie is your local man there! He does lessons and I will get his details in here soon. Easterlies can be good here, but are weaker as the point at Myoli beach in the far distance of this photo above "steals" the flow of wind.
